The Wynne Business newsletter is now the Wynne Business Blog! This month, executive consultant Peggy Wynne Borgman talks about the most effective way to gauge customer satisfaction--a simple question that speaks volumes about your spa's ability to create loyalty and profit.

Join the Bay Area Spa Leadership Round Table! The mission is to share best practices and help our local spa industry thrive. Membership is available to spa owners and managers of facilities with sales of $1 million or more per year. Wynne Business will be one of the Round Table sponsors, enabling us to keep membership costs to just $100 per business per year. Each business can send up to two attendees per meeting, and host spa duties will revolve between members.

The format of the three hour meetings will be a round table discussion of members' current business conditions and sharing of best practices, a presentation by a guest expert, and a "case study" conducted for the host business, who will have the opportunity to present an idea or issue they'd like group feedback on. (Business confidentiality rules apply; what happens at the Round Table stays at the Round Table!)

Our inaugural meeting will take place at Preston Wynne Spa in Saratoga on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Continental breakfast will be served, beginning at 9:15 a.m. For our first meeting, an extended round table and introductions will take the place of the "case study."
