Wynne Business Executive Bios
Peggy Wynne Borgman is the President of Preston Wynne, Inc. a spa
organization founded in 1984, which operates award-winning Preston Wynne
Spa in the San Francisco Bay Area. In 1994 the company founded a
consulting division, Wynne Business. Clients have included Hyatt Hotels, Coldwater Creek Spas, Langham Hotels International, MGM Mirage, eleven
spa, Glen Ivy Hot Springs Spas, and Gold's Gym.
Through its acclaimed Spa Directors Management Intensive Seminar, Wynne
Business has trained management employees for the top tier of the
international hospitality industry, including Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons,
Stillwater by Hyatt, Peninsula Hotels and Shangri-La.
Ms. Borgman is a regular contributor to American Spa magazine whose
commentary on business and the spa industry has also been featured in USA
Today, The Wall Street Journal, Fortune Small Business and Time magazine.
She is a licensed California esthetician and author of the book "Four
Seasons of Inner and Outer Beauty", a consumer self care guide inspired by
the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
A member of the board of directors for Next Door Solutions, a domestic
violence agency in San Jose, California, Ms. Borgman created the Healing
Touch Spa Parties, a series of successful charity events. This work earned
her recognition as a Distinguished Volunteer Fundraiser by the Bay Area
chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Lisa M. Starr has almost 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, and is currently the senior East Coast business consultant to new and existing spas and salons for Wynne Business, a leading spa consulting company in the US. Her knowledge and experience include business operations and finances, marketing and advertising, inventory management, human resource development, and business process improvement. Lisa also leads regular Wynne Business educational programs, including the Spa Directors Management Intensive and The High Performance Spa. Consulting clients throughout the U.S. and in Southeast Asia include day spa start-ups and turnarounds, medi-spas and hotel spas, hospitals, fitness clubs, and beauty salons adding spa services. She is a frequent presenter at industry trade shows such as the IECSC, ISPA, Spa & Resort Expo, and the Spa Asia Wellness Summit, and a regular columnist at American Spa Magazine.
